In our last blog post, we featured a video segment from noted business writer Joel Kotkin, who has just published a new book, The Next Hundred Million: America in 2050. In his book, Kotkin argues that the U.S. is well positioned for the future because it is the only advanced country with a large growing population, has the second largest energy resource base in the world, and possesses a resilient economic system. He forecasts great opportunities for technology, telecommunications, and micro-businesses.
Kotkin currently writes the “New Geographer” column for Forbes and previously penned the monthly “Grass Roots Business” column for the New York Times. His work also appears in the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, the Washington Post, Inc., and other publications.
At a recent visit to Microsoft, Kotkin agreed to answer questions from VFI members. Just fill in the form below to submit your question and you will be entered into a drawing to win a signed copy of The Next Hundred Million: America in 2050.
