Veteran Leadership and Military Affairs at Microsoft

In honor of Veterans Day, Voices for Innovation is excited and proud to host an upcoming webinar with Chris Cortez who leads Microsoft’s Military Affairs group. A retired Marine Major General, Chris will discuss Microsoft’s programs to help service members train for careers in information technology—and make the transition from military to civilian life. He and his team also engage broadly with the tech and military communities to promote opportunities available for veterans in the IT sector. In addition to discussing Microsoft Military Affairs, Chris will share some leadership best practices, drawing on his 11 years of experience at Microsoft and 33 in the U.S. Marine Corps.
