Microsoft Philanthropies is working around the clock to help communities respond to the COVID-19 crisis. The organization is focused on assisting hospitals, supporting public health, and helping schools provide robust online learning. In VFI’s April 29, 2020 webinar, participants heard about Microsoft Philanthropies’ COVID-19 response activities, with a focus on the organization’s efforts to support teachers and students as they move to virtual classrooms. The webinar also looked ahead at Philanthropies’ plans to support an inclusive recovery, and previewed VFI’s next webinar focused on computer science education and volunteering opportunities through the TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) program.
