Executive Avanade, Inc. www.avanade.com

For over 25 years, I’ve been advising senior executives and their boards on how to use technology to improve their companies’ productivity and performance.

I’m currently an executive at Avanade, Inc., leading global client teams at communications, media, and technology clients. Prior to joining Avanade, I co-founded and lead Cogent Company, a boutique management consulting firm focused on data and technology as a tool for growth and profitability. Prior to founding Cogent Company, I ran global channel sales and development for Trendium and served clients globally with Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and Consulting Partners.

I have served as an Adjunct at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, am a guest lecturer in the College of Business at the University of North Texas, and am a frequent conference speaker on the topics of technology strategy and policy.

I currently participate on a number of boards at the University of North Texas in both the College of Business and the College of Arts & Sciences. In addition to my role at UNT, I am active in the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), the DFW World Affairs Council, and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Why I Support VFI

I have continued to participate in Voices for Innovation because of the timely information about the technology industry they provide to me. Whether it’s just following tweets, engaging in conference calls with policy experts, or attending live events with policy makers, I am always challenged by the content and interactions with this group.
